Lewd, Crude and Tattooed

Yesterday, Nicola spent 3.5 hours bent over, with a finger almost up her bum.... as she was getting her lower back tattooed.

It's a funny story but I'm also quite well chuffed because I did the design for her. Well, she gave me a series of Chinese characters that she wanted incorporated into her tattoo, and so I designed this:


The tattoo artiste though, had to change it so that it would "work on the body". This is what it ended up looking like.

If I don't say so myself, this is one of the coolest tattoos I've seen. I can't take all the credit though, it was a joint production between me, the tattoo artiste and Nicola's ass cleavage.

I'm also rather keen on getting another myself. I went down to Inner Vision, in Surry Hills with a design I made. The tattoo guy however, was concerned that the lines were too close together and that over time, it would blur into a circle of ugliness.

I want the one in the middle, but it'll have to look more like the one on the left for it to work well.


Dunno. Still undecided. Rather uncharacteristically, I'll think about it a bit more before doing it.
