Buenos Aires

Hanging out in San Telmo, which is kinda the touristy area, we were approached by a camera crew filming a documentary on digital photography.

Went a really famous cementary where all the famous argentinians are buried. Couldn't find Evita's grave, but the whole place was a amazing, full of statues and awesome architecture. Its called 'City of Angels', just because there are so many statues of angels.

This is just one of the statues in a busy intersection on the main road.

They have a load of professional dog walkers, you see them with up to a dozen dogs following.

Us wandering around. They city is spectactular by night.

The main street. City scenes.

I'm a bit disappointed with Buenos Aries. Admittedly, I had sky high expectations, but I found the city folk really unfriendly, the shopping a bit ho hum and the music wasn't so great at clubs and things. And the service! Mon Cherie! We would walk into stores, and people would just stare at us. Or we would go to pay for something, and would have to wait for ages while the store keeper finished chatting to their friends. And I went to a clothing store, and got told off for touching the clothes. Seriously. On the whole, the friendliest, nicest people were other foreigners.

In all fairness though, it is a beautiful city and the powerpoint plug things are the same as Australia´s which is kinda cool because I forgot to bring an adaptor.
